Two of our high-profile projects made big news in April. Read on for the details.
Elanco Animal Health Headquarters Groundbreaking
Dignitaries from state government and the City of Indianapolis turned out in force to attend the April 12 groundbreaking ceremonies for the $100 million Elanco Animal Health headquarters project just west of downtown Indianapolis. The new headquarters will rise on 40 acres formerly housing the General Motors Stamping Plant. We are providing civil/site engineering services for the 220,000-sft, 6-story, glass-faced headquarters building and are providing structural support to the site/civil design. We will also be the structural engineer of record for the parking structure for Elanco staff. Construction is expected to take two to three years.
Purdue Dedicates Veterinary Medical Hospital Complex
We provided civil engineering services for the new $108 million David and Bonnie Brunner Purdue Veterinary Medical Hospital Complex, dedicated by Purdue University officials on April 8. The 162,500-square-foot complex includes three facilities: an equine hospital for horses, a farm animal hospital, and a small animal hospital. The complex also features a state-of-the-art swimming pool for animals needing physical therapy. Our services included grading, drainage design, sanitary sewer design, and permitting.
