American Structurepoint’s expertise on road diet projects now extends from Carmel to Evansville in Indiana! Work is well underway to reconstruct Weinbach Avenue in Evansville from Pollack Avenue to Walnut Street. We are providing construction inspection services for the project that reduces Weinbach from two lanes in each direction to one shared lane in each direction and a dedicated center left-turn lane. The $2.89 million road diet includes milling and resurfacing of the existing roadway, full-depth HMA patches, PCCP drives, HMA drives and parking lots, concrete curbs, concrete curb ramps and sidewalks, pavement markings, traffic signal improvements at three intersections, and storm sewer system improvements. The project is expected to be completed by December 1. Meanwhile, we continue to provide program management and road design services for the multi-phased Range Line Road corridor project in Carmel.
