A new stretch of regionally significant roadway opened to traffic in Whitestown, Indiana on August 29 – County Road 400 South Connector Road, known in the local community as the Albert S. White/146th Street Connector. American Structurepoint provided construction inspection services for the $4.1 million project that built approximately 1 mile of new roadway from the intersection of CR 400 South and County Road 650 to County Road 300 East. The new road provides a route that area resident have wanted for decades – a connection between I-65 and I-69. The project also included the construction of a new bridge structure. Prior to construction, American Structurepoint designed the roadway and provided land survey and environmental engineering services. Check out this Whitestown video about the road’s value to the community.
