Construction of Phase 1 of the Sagamore Parkway project in Lafayette was completed on time on November 30. American Structurepoint was the primary designer and performed construction inspection services for the $7 million project that focused on improving Sagamore Parkway (US 52) between McCarty Lane and Main Street. The project included rebuilding the intersections of Main Street and McCarty Lane. Other improvements included new pavement, improved drainage, a multi-use trail, upgraded sidewalks, new roadway lighting, and new traffic signals.
