The official opening of traffic to County Road 200 N was celebrated on the morning of Friday October 28 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This project was funded and administered by LaGrange County in an effort to provide an improved roadway for safer travel. The asphalt roadway was completely reconstructed and widened, while the very hilly portions of the road were lowered several feet to improve sight distance and safety. Drainage improvements were part of the project with new roadway culverts and roadside swales to better channel storm water runoff. Be sure to check out the picture of Amish buggies and a bicyclist using the new road. Congrats LaGrange County!
