American Structurepoint is proud to be a part of bringing a new era of healthcare excellence to Southern Indiana now that IU Health Bloomington is open and accepting patients. We provided civil engineering, utility infrastructure, and structural engineering services for the hospital. A massive move of patients from the old IU Health in downtown Bloomington to the new facility on the new Indiana University Regional Academic Health Center campus occurred Sunday, December 5. The 620,000-sft hospital offers 364 patient beds and has a dedicated trauma center, comprehensive OB/GYN services, infusion center, and cardiology care among its many services.
