Here’s another great win – American Structurepoint’s first general engineering consultant (GEC) contract with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)! We are part of a team selected to provide GEC engineering services in support of advance planning, surveying, plans specifications and estimates (PS&E), subsurface utility engineering (SUE) and utility coordination, right-of-way, overall program management, project supervision, management, scheduling, administration, alternative delivery support, review and coordination of individual project development documents by others, maintenance of corridor planning documents and website materials, and a corridorwide construction- related traveler information system for various highway projects located within Texas.
The Ramos Consulting team is one of three firms selected to receive a $10 million contract after a two-stage evaluation process. Sean Beal, a senior project manager in American Structurepoint’s Austin design center, is a key staff member on the project and was part of the presentation and interview team. Sean is the team’s task leader for route studies and schematic design. We are also performing work for TxDOT on multiple bridge contracts, a schematic-environmental contract, a traffic engineering contract, and a PS&E contract. Keep up that great work in the Lone Star State!
