American Structurepoint in the News

American Structurepoint people and projects appeared in the media 20 times in July. Here is a recap.

  • Racer.com published an article detailing several improvements at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). The article included info about improvements to Georgetown Road and two IMS-owned parking lots for which provided civil engineering services. (Please see the article elsewhere in the newsletter.)
  • The Columbus Underground ran an article and loads of photos of Crooked Can Ohio and Center Street Market in Hilliard, Ohio. We provided civil engineering services for the project.
  • Cost overruns on the SR 37 corridor project in Fishers caught the attention of The Indianapolis Business Journal and The Indianapolis Star. We are managing the entire design team for the corridor, the design of the 126th Street interchange currently under construction, and the 131st Street interchange.
  • KPC News and The Albion News-Sun continued to update their readers about the Noble County Annex project under design in Albion, Indiana. We are providing architectural design services for the new annex.
  • A City-Council ordinance authorizing the City of Elyria, Ohio to hire American Structurepoint to design a new roundabout at the intersections of Mills Road, Stoney Ridge Road, and Avalon Drive received coverage in The Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.
  • A feasibility study we completed for a high-speed, multi-stage thoroughfare for CR 300 S and CR 775 E in Montgomery County, Indiana warranted mention in The Crawfordsville Journal Review.
  • Crain’s Cleveland Business named the American Structurepoint Columbus design center as one of the state’s top employers. (Please see the article appearing elsewhere in the newsletter.)
  • Building Excellence Magazine reported that Joe Rebber joined the American Structurepoint architecture healthcare practice.
  • Progress in approving funds to be spent for our design of a new Gibson County Indiana Correctional Facility saw much coverage in that community. The Princeton Daily Clarion, Channel 14 News in Evansville, Radio Station WWBL The Bullet, and Vincennes PBS published multiple articles during July and also quoted Rick Conner regarding the project.
  • The ACEC Indiana website recognized that American Structurepoint contributed to the 2020 ACEC Indiana Scholarship fund that awarded $317,500 to eligible students.
  • Current in Carmel and Indy Midtown Magazine published articles reporting on the Purple Line Bus Rapid Transit Project that will construct 15.2 miles of dedicated BRT lanes from downtown Indianapolis to the City of Lawrence. We are providing program management for Indianapolis DPW for this project.
