Illinois Office Wins Marquardt School District 15 Building Projects

The American Structurepoint Illinois office has landed its first major structural design project, which consists of three building projects for Marquardt School District 15 in Glendale Heights, Illinois. The building projects will be broken up in three phases. Phase 1 will consist of a new $1.7 million, 2-story, 8,700-sft maintenance building at Marquardt Middle School. Phase 2 consists of a 31,000-sft $8.7 million Performing Arts Center addition to Marquardt Middle School. Phase 3 consists of an 11,700-sft $7 million addition to Stanley Hall School, including a series of classrooms and a 2-story gymnasium space, as well as a 13,900-sft addition to Winnebago Elementary School, including a lobby space and a combination of 2-story and single-story classroom spaces.

Building Envelope Services, Port St. Lucie, Florida

American Structurepoint has been selected to perform professional building envelope consultant services on the St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The scope of the work will include reviewing contract documents, specifications, and shop drawings pertaining to the building enclosure materials and systems and providing comments as necessary relative to each, as well as site visits during construction with water testing of storefront systems.
