Employees from our Austin office were deep in the weeds during their February community service outing at the largest hunger-relief charity in Central Texas! The group of dedicated volunteers got their hands dirty in the Central Texas Food Bank’s garden. They pulled weeds, planted daikon radishes, and contributed to the 45 million pounds of food that the organization provides to families in need each year. Aside from producing food, the garden serves as a model of sustainable growing practices, which empowers clients to replicate healthy eating and physical activity practices at home. Way to make a difference, Austin Team!
Employees in attendance included: Ricardo Zamarripa, Fernando Gaytan, April Sandoval, Amy Bennett, Tyler Daigle, Jenna Alchevsky, Adam Pfeiffer, and Heather Sulaica.
