American Structurepoint projects and people landed in the news media and on the internet 18 times in November.
- Global Construction Review, a trade publication based in the United Kingdom, told its readers that we are a team member for the $2 billion I-66 Outside the Beltway project in Virginia (See accompanying article).
- The Inside Indiana Business website, The Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette, and WFYI Channel 20 in Indianapolis all reported that we are on the design team for the Fort Wayne Riverfront redevelopment effort. The first phase includes a promenade, park pavilion, event space, a central plaza, terraces, an elevated boardwalk, and a children’s play area.
- The Northwest Indiana Times published an article about our work on a comprehensive strategic development plan for proposed new rapid train stations in Munster, Hammond, and Dyer as the South Shore Line West Lake Corridor expands.
- The Indianapolis Business Journal and Inside Indiana Business reported on big plans for more jobs at the 16 Tech campus. Cook Medical announced plans to add 82 jobs at its current operations there. American Structurepoint is designing multiple infrastructure improvements at the 60-acre innovation district.
- Columbus Project Manager Mike Raubenolt was quoted in two articles about a $1 million roundabout we are designing at Mills Road and SR 83 in Lorain County, Ohio. The articles appeared in the Lorain Morning Journal News and The Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.
- The Jeffersonville/New Albany News and Tribune reported that the $8 million River Run Family Waterpark received a national design award from the United Aqua Group. We provided civil engineering and site design, land surveying, environmental services, structural engineering, and landscape architecture design for the award-winning waterpark.
- The Indianapolis Star and the City of Noblesville website reported on the opening of the $2.8 million extension of Brooks School Road. (See earlier article for details.)
- The Greensburg (Ind.) Daily News reported that we continue work on environmental documentation for Phase 2 of the Veterans Way project in that city.
- The Columbus (Ind.) Republic updated its readers about five potential railroad traffic solutions we presented to city officials as part of the railroad study we are conducting.
- The Warsaw (Ind.) Times-Union reported on our preliminary design work and environmental permitting for a $1.6 million lakefront civic plaza that will connect Buffalo Street with the existing Warsaw Municipal Park and Beach.
- The Michigan City Dispatch reported on the approval of expenses for a feasibility/programming study that we will do regarding a possible new City Hall building in Michigan City.
- Our design work on Phase 2 of the Westchester-Liberty Trail in Chesterton, Indiana received a mention in The Chesterton Tribune.
