On May 30, the City of Fort Wayne had its inaugural Dragon Boat race that consisted of 25 teams made up of local businesses, utilities, state officials, etc., to raise money to benefit Cancer Services for Indiana. The City Utilities requested Bryan Hood (Utility Infrastructure Group) be part of their team and was sponsored by American Structurepoint. Wing Lau (Road Group) also volunteered to be part of the team in case anyone was not able to make it. The City greatly appreciated his volunteering and was able to use him in all heats.

The dynamic duo helped City Utilities to score the second fastest overall time and first in their division, allowing them to move to the finals.  After a long fun day, City Utilities placed second in their division, missing first place by only 0.1 seconds.
