The Hammond Sportsplex & Community Center features prominently in the June issue of Athletic Business Magazine, a national trade publication that reaches 40,000 athletics, fitness, and recreation decision-makers. A two-page spread is part of our entry in the 2020 Athletic Business Architectural Showcase Awards. A panel of sports, fitness, and recreation facility architects will choose 10 winners from the 51 submissions. Winners will be announced in October. We provided architecture, civil engineering, and structural engineering services for the $20 million project. Our award submission is available online. Here’s hoping that the sportsplex will be recognized as one of the best sports and rec projects in the nation!
