It is our pleasure to announce five recent promotions – three in Construction Solutions and one each in Environmental Services and Investigative. Read on for the details.
Josh Iddings, PE, has been promoted to project manager within our Environmental Services Group. During his tenure, Josh has grown in his capabilities in the area of ecological work, including wetland delineation, permitting, and mitigation design. Joel also has expanded his understanding of the NEPA process as well with environmental regulations overall. Josh’s ability to handle challenges in a straightforward manner has been a great asset in working with clients, regulators, and staff. Josh is a dedicated mentor for our Environmental Services staff on technical issues, and his broad technical knowledge combined with his easy-going demeanor make him a key member of the team and contributor to our company’s success.
David Johansen, PE, has been promoted to Ohio Construction Solutions Group director. David joined the firm in June 2016 as the field manager for our Ohio Construction Solutions Group after working 32 years with the Ohio Department of Transportation serving in multiple districts in both design and construction. David’s wealth of experience and an extensive network has been key to our growth and success in Ohio. Since joining us, our Ohio Construction Solutions Group revenue has tripled, anchored by key prime selections with ODOT in Districts 1, 6, and 7, along with steady growth with local clients in the Columbus and Cincinnati markets. Not only has David been successful in winning work, but he has also proven his ability to recruit and hire new staff. We look forward to continued growth in Ohio under David’s leadership.
Tyler Price, SE, has been promoted to field manager in the Construction Solutions Group. Tyler joined the firm in June 2009 as a construction inspector in the Evansville office following four rounds as an intern/co-op student. Tyler quickly moved into a resident project representative position followed by being promoted to area supervisor for southwest Indiana in 2015. This area continues to grow with key clients such as the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, City of Evansville, Vanderburgh County, Warrick County, and the City of Terre Haute. Tyler has developed excellent relationships with each of these clients and excels at not only selling construction services but also services for the entire company. Tyler has also proven his ability to recruit and hire new staff to accommodate recent growth. We look forward to continued growth in southwest Indiana and the potential for growth into western Kentucky under Tyler’s leadership.
Josh Culver, PE, has been promoted to field manager in the Construction Solutions Group. Josh joined the firm in June 2012 as a resident project representative in the Evansville office following five years with the Indiana Department of Transportation as a construction project engineer in the Vincennes District. Josh relocated to Jeffersonville in August 2014 to further our position in the southeast Indiana market. With proven success in managing multiple projects simultaneously while also making significant contributions to business development, Josh was promoted to area supervisor in May 2015. Josh’s leadership in this area has contributed to steady growth with key clients such as the River Ridge Development Authority, Indiana American Water, Harrison County, and the INDOT Seymour District. Josh has also proven his ability to recruit and hire new staff to accommodate this growth. We look forward to continued growth in southeast Indiana and the potential for growth into central Kentucky under Josh’s leadership.
Dan Weekes, AIA, NCARB, BECxP, CSI, has been promoted to senior project manager in the Investigative Group. Dan joined the company in November 2010 with the Construction Inspection Group and transitioned one year later into the Investigative Group. Dan has a unique skillset, supremely diligent work ethic, and a desire to grow his professional career that has driven him to take on larger and more complex Investigative assignments. Along the way, Dan has taken responsible charge of the group’s property condition assessment and building enclosure commissioning services. He also handles large construction defect and designer standard of care claims as an investigator and expert witness. Dan has an established and growing reputation in the industry, and he is a key contributor to the group’s success.
