American Structurepoint projects and people landed in the news media and on the internet 15 times in August. Check out this recap.
- An article in Roads and Bridges Magazine detailing Carmel, Indiana’s love of roundabouts and parkway-like roadways featured photos of three of our projects, including the recently completed Range Line Road. Our company logo also appears in the article.
- The Goshen News and The Elkhart Truth reported that we have been hired to design a $5.6 million multi-use pavilion and ice rink. The project features a 260,000-sft foot pavilion that would double as an ice rink in the winter months. The pavilion would be used for festivals, flea markets, receptions, festivals, and various community events during the spring and summer months.
- Pol & Spa Marketing, a trade publication, published an article about a 40,000-sft expansion of Automatic Pool Covers in Westfield, Indiana, that our architects designed.
- The Northwest Times of Indiana reported that Porter County hired our firm to do a traffic study of US 6 in hopes of showing that the road needs to be updated and widened.
- WLFI Channel 18 and The Lafayette Journal & Courier reported about a traffic study looking at a possible new interchange for I-65 in the Lafayette area near McCarty Lane.
- The Kokomo Tribune reported on the $43 million expansion at the Ivy Tech Kokoko campus that will redefine the area’s vocational education. (Please see article elsewhere in the newsletter.)
- The Elyria (Ohio) Chronicle-Telegram reported that the City of North Ridgeville asked American Structurepoint to submit engineering proposals for two proposed roundabouts in that city that could be built by 2020.
- The Hamilton County Reporter covered the VIP ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Riverview Health Westfield Hospital. (Please see the article elsewhere in the newsletter.)
- Several outlets reported on traffic adjustments occurring due to roadwork preparing the way for the Indianapolis Red Line Bus Rapid Transit Line that we have designed. These included The Indianapolis Star, WTHR Channel 13, WRTV Channel 6, WXIN Channel 59, and WTTV Channel 4.
