Golf Outing Pics and Results – Guess Who Won Again?

The rain forecast for most of the week prior to the outing dissipated into cloudy skies and pleasant temperatures for the 88 “golfers” to compete in this year’s 37th Annual Memorial Golf Classic. Many thanks to American Structurepoint for providing this opportunity to gather and enjoy a great day of golf and fellowship!

Here are the results: after 18 holes of some fine (and not so fine) golf, we gathered to eat some burgers and brats and dole out the prizes, praises, cheers, and jeers as follows:

Long Drive on #3

Eric Kuntz

Closest to the Pin on #8

Joe Griffith

Longest Putt on #10

Patrick Dottery

Closest to the Pin on #14

Zach Wolf

Long Drive on #18

Ben Settles

Now for the scores – Two teams were tied at a 6-under 65, so to determine third place, we had to break the tie by reviewing the scores from 18 backward, with the team of Bryan Potter, Jordan Bosse, Tanner McKinney, and Nick Murphy getting edged out by the team of Dan McCloskey, Dan Weekes, Mike Hoopingarner, and Steve Hanscom to earn a third-place finish. Shooting 8-under par to score a 63 and land them in second place was the team of Brad Curts, Elliot Smith, Kristina Mudd, and Ben Wagner.  Last, (but not least and not really, because they landed in first again) was the team of Eric Kuntz, David Haas (last minute ringer fill-in for Dave Machala), Will Lyon, and Zach Wolf, shooting one of the lowest scores we’ve seen in recent years – a 14-under 57.  Well done!

Special thanks to Andrew Everhart for capturing the memories and photographic evidence to prove you all were indeed at this year’s outing. Many photos also were uploaded to the PhotoCircle app. Thanks again to all who came out and made it an enjoyable day. Most importantly, a hearty ‘thank you’ goes out to American Structurepoint for allowing us to hook, hack, slice, and shank our way around the golf course once again. So, until next year, when you see the email you all love to see, enjoy life with those around you, for it goes much too quickly!
