Get ready to swing a hammer and build the walls of a future Habitat for Humanity home. Slots remain for Indianapolis staff to sign up for our Panel Build happening right here in the 7260 parking lot on Thursday, July 20. No experience is necessary; all training will be provided on site. A panel build allows volunteers to construct much of the framing in segments that will be transported to the Habitat build site. Two shifts are available: 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. to noon. Volunteers also are needed on Friday, July 21 for an hour to disassemble, stack and pack the Habitat home. This will allow us to display the panels we build to all visitors attending the Chili Cookoff. So please consider giving just a little of your time and energy for a great cause.
