This month’s column features some quick hits on three important topics – the state of the business, community service, and good wishes for one of American Structurepoint’s founding fathers.
Business Status Update
As we move full force into the construction season, it’s a great time to share a quick business update. Our 2016 sales continues to trend very, very strong. In fact, we are ahead of schedule to achieve another record sales year. A strong bottom line remains on track too. Thanks to all who touch our clients, who produce the work that leads to a win, and who help make our selection so easy.
Community Service Spotlight
Kudos to our Indianapolis and Columbus employees who participated in Days of Service in April. Please read the article that appears later in the newsletter about our volunteer efforts at Gleaners Food Bank and Mid-Ohio Food Bank. Between the two locations, 68 volunteers sorted hundreds of food items that translated into 711 weeks of food and more than 17,000 meals. I am so proud of the causes and organizations that we choose to support through time, talent, and financial donations. Day of Service is particularly impactful because I can think of no better causes to support than ones that help people help themselves to live better lives.
Bill Gervasio Update
Many of you may be unaware that one of our founders, Bill Gervasio, suffered a stroke recently. I am happy to report that he is recovering nicely and doing very well. Please hold him in your thoughts and prayers so that he continues to progress well and enjoy many additional years of good health.
