Now in its second year, the Indiana Service Challenge gives companies statewide an opportunity to participate and compete for $200,000 in prize money for the charities they support. Companies With A Mission (CWAM), the organization behind the Challenge, will award the prize money to multiple 501(c)(3) charities throughout Indiana. Companies put together volunteer teams and served their charity of choice, then submitted a write up and video about their efforts for voting by a panel of judges and the general public. We nominated DREAM Alive’s Community Day 2013 Food Drive and asked our staff to vote for this event to help it win its share of the prize money. The winning teams and charities will be announced at the awards celebration on June 22, so keep your fingers crossed for DREAM Alive!
