MOT 75 Receives National ACEC Recognition: The American Structurepoint Ohio Transportation Group and our client, ODOT District 7, will receive national recognition for the I-75 Urban Freeway Widening, Phase 1B project during a black-tie awards program and dinner on Tuesday, April 23, at The Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel in Washington, DC. ACEC Indiana Awards Banquet: American Structurepoint was honored at the 2013 American Council of Engineering Companies’ Indiana Engineering Excellence Luncheon Awards Banquet, held on March 11 at the Marriott Indianapolis North. Clint Sparks (Transportation) of American Structurepoint, as well as City of Noblesville, Indiana officials, and representatives from USI accepted awards plaques on behalf of the Union Chapel Road from Promise Road to SR 32/38 in Noblesville, Indiana, which was the recipient of a Merit Award. Dan Weinheimer (Architecture) and Shaun Cofer (Federal) accepted award plaques on behalf of the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Consolidated Support Center project, which was recognized as a state finalist.

Henneke Named ASCE-MIB Civil Engineer of the Year: Executive Vice President Greg Henneke was selected as the 2013 Outstanding Civil Engineer of the Year by the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Metropolitan Indianapolis Branch. He was recognized with this award during a luncheon on March 20.
American Structurepoint Ranked Among Top Central Ohio Engineering Firms: For a third consecutive year, American Structurepoint has been ranked among the top 25 engineering firms by Columbus Business First, based on 2012 consulting engineering billings from central Ohio offices.
Maplecrest Road Receives ACPA Award: American Structurepoint, Allen County, Indiana, and Primco, Inc., were honored at an awards luncheon on March 27 at the Indianapolis Marriott East in Indianapolis, during which the Indiana Chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association recognized them with a 2013 Excellence in Concrete Pavement Award in the Urban Arterials & Collectors category for the Maplecrest Road Extension, Allen Co., R-31752 project.

Yeager Road Roundabout Wins Quality in Construction Award: The Yeager Road roundabout project in West Lafayette, Indiana, received a “Quality in Construction” award for Excellence in Paving from the National Asphalt Paving Association. The award plaque will be on display in our West Lafayette office.
