The Environmental Services Group’s contribution to Fort Wayne’s transformative Promenade Park project is receiving recognition from one of the world’s most prestigious award programs – the 2021 Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Americas Awards for Excellence competition. The project is among 23 impressive developments chosen as finalists in the competition that includes projects from the US, Canada, and Mexico. Winners will be announced later this summer and will go on to contend for the even more prestigious ULI Global Awards for Excellence.

American Structurepoint completed environmental studies and permitting for the $20 million Wayne Riverfront Promenade that opened in August 2019. The park on the north and south side of St. Marys River in downtown Fort Wayne has become a central gathering place for the community and visitors alike, helping to create a sense of place while also revitalizing the riverfront into a destination spot. The park features a band shell for concerts, a pavilion with a brewery and beer garden, gardens, a creek bioswale, a tree trail, fountain, fire features, and amphitheater.
