Conner Brintlinger Reflects on D-Day Anniversary

Director of Business Development and External Affairs Conner Brintlinger provided a heartfelt reflection to The Columbus Dispatch regarding the June 6 anniversary of D-Day. In 2019, Conner traveled to Normandy, France, for the 75th anniversary of the historic military operation during which US, British, and Canadian forces landed simultaneously on five separate beachheads in Normandy. On the morning of June 6, Conner walked down to Omaha Beach at 6:30 a.m., the exact time the amphibious assault began in 1944. He took in the sights and met several surviving veterans of that battle.

“My trip to Normandy was life-changing,” Conner says of his journey. “I consider it an obligation and duty to share the stories of the veterans I met so we never forget the sacrifices that were made.” You can read Conner’s entire column at this link.
