Community Service Update

Saluting Antra Henson, Volunteer of the Year 2017

We now have a plaque hanging near the central stairwell at headquarters to recognize the Community Service Volunteers of the Year. We announced at the company briefing that Antra Henson (Accounting Group) received the first-ever award because of her exceptional commitment to our GiveBack program. Antra’s name is on the plaque, and she also received a certificate honoring her contributions.

American Structurepoint Speedway Laps and Lagers May 16

GiveBack and HealthPoint are teaming up to bring you our first-ever adult tricycle race at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, at the Indianapolis office. This will be a great chance to celebrate race month and socialize with colleagues. The event name suggests some other fun adult activities are planned, but details aren’t fully nailed down, yet. Watch for upcoming announcements!

Panel Buildup, July 26, 2018

Sing with me: I don’t want to work. I just want to bang on these nails all day. Keep your calendar open for the morning of Thursday, July 26, for our Habitat for Humanity Panel Build at our Indianapolis office. Put down your laptop and pick up a hammer as you work up a sweat and have fun with your coworkers, building a house frame right in our parking lot! Not only will you get that great feeling that comes from helping someone else, it’s a great opportunity to burn off stress. The chili cookoff is the next day (July 27), and we’ll leave the frame up in our parking lot so that all your client guests can appreciate your hard work!

 Habitat Home Dedication

Our help in painting a Habitat for Humanity home in Lawrence was greatly appreciated by new homeowner Ragen Shell. You can see her beaming with pride as she celebrated her home ownership at an April 13 dedication ceremony. Ragen’s daughter, Verai, is with her in the photo. A big thanks to all the volunteers who turned out on March 3 to paint the home.
