New Bloomington Hospital

Bloomington, Indiana will be home to a new hospital by 2020. Indiana University Health received the notice to proceed on August 11 for the $340 million hospital and academic center. Traditional Hoosier materials will be featured throughout the facility from use of limestone and brick to incorporating native plants in healing gardens and around the grounds. The complex will include a 620,000-square-foot hospital for inpatient and outpatient services, and 115,000 square feet for classrooms and other instructional settings. American Structurepoint is providing civil and structural engineering services for this project.
