New York Times Features Mike McBride, Carmel Roundabouts

Carmel, Indiana was featured on the front page of the Sunday edition of the New York Times (NYT) November 21 for you guessed it, roundabouts! American Structurepoint Vice President Mike McBride is quoted in the article and credited with overseeing the construction of nearly 80 roundabouts during his time as city engineer for Carmel. The article praised the roundabouts for saving lives, reducing car crashes, lowering carbon emissions, and saving lives. American Structurepoint provided services for four roundabouts highlighted in the article – Hoagy Carmichael, Old Meridian and North Pennsylvania streets, Keystone Parkway and 116th Street, and 96th Street and Westfield Boulevard.
