IndyCar Driver James Hinchcliffe Visits Lenglade Family

Jasper Lenglade, the 15-year-old son of Jen and Jon Lenglade (Construction Solutions Group), received an awesome surprise when IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe personally delivered an IRacing simulator in spectacular style.

Jasper has battled leukemia since 2016. He rang out (finished treatment) on June 20, 2019. Make-A-Wish of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana granted Jasper his wish, and James came to the Lenglades’ Greenwood, Indiana home right before Thanksgiving. James also brought an Indy 500 street car, two Indy 500 Festival princesses, and the legendary Borg-Warner trophy. The trophy is presented annually to the winner of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race and permanently displayed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum.

Hinchcliffe helped Jasper get the hang of his new simulator with a few virtual laps around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Jasper told WTHR news, “Being able to give kids something that they want for overcoming some of the biggest obstacles they will face in their life … I think that’s really cool.”

Here’s wishing Jasper continued good health in 2021!
