Holiday Mania

Holiday Mania will be held December 7 to 11, 2020. One of the things that makes Holiday Mania so special is that all items are donated by our staff and friends. Our staff have shown their generosity year after year, and we know you’ll rise to the occasion and help populate the event with gifts that you’re excited to share with your colleagues.

Donations of complete packages and amazing individual items are both welcome. If your creativity needs a jumpstart, we have a few ideas to inspire you. Check out this link of suggested items. You can also donate cash for Holiday Mania elves to purchase an item on your behalf.

Please submit donated items by Tuesday, November 17 for inclusion in the shopping catalog.

Electronic purchase options will be available for everyone who wishes to participate in the event! Winners will be able to pick up their package in Indianapolis or Columbus the week after the drawing. (Shipping is available on select packages for staff located in other design centers.)

Santa is Coming to Town!

The big guy will be available for photos at our Indianapolis headquarters on Saturday, December 5. His people are talking to our people about safety protocols, but we’ll have a sign-up sheet available soon.

DREAM Christmas – Volunteers Needed

Volunteer delivery drivers are needed in Indianapolis on the morning of Saturday, December 5 to help fulfill holiday wishes. The DREAM Alive organization is continuing their tradition of providing holiday gifts to families in need. As in previous years, student scholars will be leading the shopping and gift packaging, but gifts will be dropped off at each recipient’s home to minimize contact rather than distributed at a party. If you can be a delivery driver (or if you’re willing to provide backup for shopping and wrapping tasks), please contact Michele Collins.

Recent Activities

Shop Local 2020: Our employees gave back to businesses in their neighborhoods by consciously shopping local during October. Staff reported visiting more than 100 restaurants and nearly 40 other businesses during the three-week challenge! Maureen Walker (Marketing Services) from our Indianapolis headquarters had her name drawn for $100 worth of gift certificates to local restaurants, and Conner Brintlinger (Business Development) from our Columbus design center was the winner of a $100 American Express gift card to spend at businesses near him. What a fun (and tasty) way to give back to our local communities!

 Donations for October

The Community Service fund increased by $3,092.50 in October 2020 thanks to our employee contributors. Donations to outside organizations were suspended during much of 2020. As noted in the President’s Column, requests for contributions are now being accepted for funds to be distributed in December 2020. Please be assured that all employee assistance requests will be kept confidential. If you know of a co-worker in need of assistance, please complete and submit a request form (available via Pinnacle or by emailing Michele Collins).
