  • The ASHE Scanner, the national publication for the American Society of Highway Engineers, published an article about the award-winning SR 619-Pickle Road Roundabout project in Green, Ohio. (Please see the article elsewhere in the newsletter.)
  • The Hotel Carmichael project in Carmel for which we provided structural engineering services hurled into the media spotlight for its rising construction costs. Inside Indiana Business, The Indianapolis Star, The Indianapolis Business Journal, and the Hamilton County Reporter published multiple articles about the hotel.
  • Debate about how to fund the $24 million Merrillville Community Center that we are designing was the subject of an article in The Chicago Tribune. The newspaper quoted Business Development Director John Kennedy on funding ideas.
  • The Columbus Messenger published an article about a 1.1 million-sft warehouse project in West Jefferson, Ohio, dubbed “Project Christmas,” for which we are providing civil/site and land survey surveying services.
  • Our work on the Noblesville Comprehensive Plan adopted in February received coverage in The Indianapolis Star and The Noblesville Times.
  • Approval of Phase One of the Western Bypass in Mount Vernon in Posey County, Indiana, was featured on the WFIE Channel 14 News in Evansville. The news station quoted Wing Lau, who is project managing the project.
  • Our work to provide preliminary engineering for a new roundabout at Lincolnway and Campbell Street in Valparaiso received coverage in The Times of Northwest Indiana.
  • The Goshen News updated its readers about the 26,000-sft Goshen Multipurpose Pavilion that will house an ice rink in the winter months. We are providing architecture, civil engineering, and structural engineering for the project expected to begin construction this spring.
  • Approval of a contract involving our engineering design services for a $5.5 million improvement of College Avenue in Goshen, Indiana was announced in The Goshen News.
  • Forward progress for funding a nearly 500-foot bridge along Bass Road over Durnell Ditch in Fort Wayne, Indiana received coverage in The Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette. We are providing bridge design and environmental services for the project.
  • A new seven-story, mixed-use development in the Victorian Village neighborhood of Columbus Ohio, for which we are providing civil/site design services, attracted the attention of The Columbus Underground website and Columbus Business First.
  • Ongoing coverage about construction and future use of Loeb Stadium in Lafayette continue to receive coverage in The Lafayette Journal & Courier, WLFI Channel 18 News, and Baseball Digest. We are providing architectural design services for the stadium.
  • The Richmond Palladium-Item newspaper published an article about the Richmond Parks master plan that we are working on.
  • A second public meeting about the State Road 37 project in Fishers, Indiana garnered coverage in The Hamilton County Reporter and the Larry In Fishers blog. We are designing the 126th and 131st Street interchanges and providing program management for the entire project.
  • The Lafayette Journal & Courier published an article about a roadway study we are conducting of two downtown Lafayette Streets to determine the feasibility and cost of converting them from one-way to two-way streets. The article quoted also quoted Project Manager Nick Murphy.
