Loeb Stadium Breaks Ground

Construction of the new Loeb Stadium in Lafayette is officially underway! A groundbreaking took place August 27 on the new $20 million state-of-the-art facility for which we are providing architectural services. We look forward to being a part of designing a multi-use, municipally-owned facility that Lafayette residents and visitors will enjoy for generations to come. Check out these fast facts.

Loeb Stadium fast facts

  • Seating Capacity: 2,500 people
  • Amenities: Three enclosed suites, three open-air party decks, gift shop area
  • Design features: Architects took inspiration from the stadium’s original 1940s-era Art Deco design, using traditional brick façade and exposed steel.
  • Multiple uses: In addition to being the home to the Lafayette Aviators of the Prospect League, the city plans to use Loeb for soccer games, football, and concerts.
  • Anticipated Completion Date: December 2020
