Volunteers Make Bunks Across America A Success

American Structurepoint employees stepped up in a big way to help make the Indianapolis Bunks Across America build event a huge success on June 15. About 36 volunteers, 17 from American Structurepoint, built 15 bunk beds (or 30 total beds) at the Circle City Industrial Complex. Earlier American Structurepoint donated funds to purchase the tools used to build the beds. The Indianapolis Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, headed by our very own Jess Pounds (Investigative Group), joined with chapters across the nation to build 2,500 bunk beds (5,000 beds) in one day.  In total, 5,459 beds were built by almost 9,000 volunteers across all 108 Sleep in Heavenly Peace chapters in 38 states and Canada. Because of our volunteers’ hard work, 30 children from the Indianapolis area will now have a place to sleep. Thanks to all who volunteered their time and contributed to caring for our community’s children in need.
