Interns Give Back and Network For Intern Day

American Structurepoint hosted our annual Intern Day on June 19. Our 29 interns spent a day serving the community together, sharing lunch with a panel of seasoned professionals, and enjoying networking and some friendly golf competition. The day began in our Indianapolis office where the interns introduced themselves with an ice-breaking activity and enjoyed breakfast together. Next, the interns headed to St. Mary’s Child Center in Indianapolis for several hours of community service. They mulched, power washed, organized, and cleans to help prepare St. Mary’s for the upcoming school year. Following community service, the interns changed and headed to Topgolf in Fishers for a panel lunch discussion. They received advice and helpful tips about their future careers, work/life balance, leadership and so much more from Michael Cline, senior vice president for administrative operations at Purdue University; Pat Fox, former CEO of Riverview Health; John Kish of 16 Tech; and our very own Rick Conner and Greg Henneke. After lunch, the interns had the option of staying for an afternoon of food, drinks, socializing, and trying their hand at golf, including competing in Topgolf’s Top Contender game. Thank you to everyone who participated in and contributed to Intern Day 2019; it was a huge success and we are already looking forward to next year.
