All these promotions are part of our Ohio Strategic Plan to achieve successful and sustainable growth to become the top engineering firm in Ohio. Tom Hibbard – Transportation Group Leader

Tom has over 30 years of design, management, and leadership experience in the transportation industry. He will serve as a principal in charge for some of our largest transportation projects in Ohio. He will also provide overall leadership for the Ohio Road Group, in conjunction with the Bridge Group which will continue to be managed out of Indianapolis.

Ed Kagel – Regional Services Director, Cleveland 

Ed has 22 years of design, management, and leadership experience in the transportation industry. Ed’s role will be to expand our geographic footprint in northeast Ohio. This includes growing our business with existing clients as well as developing new clients, starting with our Transportation, Utility Infrastructure and Construction Solutions practices.

Frank Aransky – Director of Development

Frank has the longest tenure in Ohio at 18 years and was instrumental in our successful geographical expansion in southwest Ohio. In this new role, Frank will play an important part in the expansion of our market sectors and practices for counties and municipalities across the state. This includes developing opportunities with existing and new clients as well as managing, leading, and mentoring the Ohio Business Development staff.

Mike Raubenolt – Project Development Director, Road Group 

Mike has over 20 years of design and management experience in developing projects for numerous transportation clients such as ODOT, counties, municipalities, and airports. In this new role, Mike will be engaged in the operational management of the Ohio Road Group. His responsibilities include managing workload and staff sharing with other offices as well as technical leadership and working with project managers to drive project profitability.

Bruce Fraser – Project Development Director, Road Group 

Bruce has over 30 years of experience in highway design and project management. In this new role, Bruce will lead our strategic efforts to position us for a large variety of ODOT wins. This includes developing and maintain relationships with ODOT and Ohio contractors, teaming arrangements, technical leadership on projects, and balancing our groups’ internal workload needs from ODOT.

Chris Bettinger – Project Development Director, Bridge Group 

Chris joined American Structurepoint in January 2005. During his 14 years, he has gained valuable experience in the design and management of bridge projects for counties, municipalities, and ODOT.  In this new role, Chris will be responsible for technical leadership on projects and mentoring of staff as well as driving project profitability for the Ohio Bridge practice.

 Tony Lenhart – Project Manager 

Tony joined American Structurepoint in January 2006. During his 13 plus years of experience, he has been involved in designing road projects for counties, municipalities, and ODOT. Tony has also helped manage road project tasks and projects for the Columbus Road Group. In this new role, Tony will be responsible for the successful management of transportation projects while providing exceptional customer care.

Mike Long – Project Manager 

Mike joined American Structurepoint in January 2006. During his 13 plus years of experience, he has been involved in designing road projects for counties, municipalities, and ODOT. Over the past couple of years, Mike has also helped manage road project tasks and projects for the Columbus and Indianapolis Road Groups. In this new role, Mike will be responsible for the successful management of transportation projects while providing exceptional customer care.

Bruin Ramsdell – Senior Roadway Engineer 

Bruin joined American Structurepoint in July 2004. During his 15 years of experience, Bruin has been the lead designer on a number of complex projects for counties, municipalities, and ODOT. Bruin’s detailed attention to road design elements makes him perfectly suited for his new role as our senior technical expert on all roadway projects.
