First New Building Breaks Ground at 16 Tech

American Structurepoint is providing civil engineering and environmental services on a $30 million Advanced Research and Innovation building now under construction in the 16 Tech Innovation District in Indianapolis. The 5-story building, the first new construction to break ground at 16 Tech, will be the headquarters for three major entities. They are the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute, Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, and Indiana Center for Regenerative Medicine, a molecular therapeutics program and technology incubator associated with the IU School of Medicine. The building will serve as the 16 Tech anchor facility, housing over 400 employees in the life sciences, engineering, tech, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, logistics, talent development, and agbiosciences fields.
