Lafayette Celebrates Completion of Restore Sagamore

American Structurepoint engineers were there to celebrate with the City of Lafayette on October 25 marking the completion of the $35 million Restore Sagamore Project. Sagamore Parkway (US 52) between Greenbush and Main streets was improved in three phases and now features complete pavement replacement, improved stormwater drainage, a multi-use trail, sidewalks, roadway lighting, intersection improvements, traffic signal replacement and safer access to and from businesses. We designed and provided construction inspection services for the project’s $7 million Phase 1 of the project focused on improving Sagamore between McCarty Lane and Main Street. Our phase was first to go to construction and was completed in November 2016.
