Brian Bingham, who oversees all our field and surveying activities in Ohio, is serving on a task force seeking strategies for strengthening the surveying profession in the Buckeye state. Brian has been appointed by the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio (PLSO) to serve on the Surveying Licensure Task Force. The task force is a joint initiative of the Ohio Board of Professional Engineers and Surveyors, the County Engineers Association of Ohio, ODOT, and PLSO to examine the diminishing numbers of licensed professional surveyors in Ohio and what can be done to attract more licensed professionals to the industry. Brian is among 11 people representing a diverse cross-section of Ohio’s surveying profession. Brian is representing the private-sector consultant industry on the task force that includes academia, state officials, and the licensing authority in Ohio.
