Free beer + delicious food + great conversation = an awesome Leaders on Tap event sponsored by PointUP. Rick Conner, Scott Scoville, Steve Davidson, Cash Canfield, and Kent Moore shared insights about themselves with employees at Sun King Brewery in Fishers. The format featured five tables of ten employees each, plus one leader per table. PointUP identified five topics for the night, allowing 15 minutes for each topic. When time lapsed, each leader rotated to a different table for the next topic. Discussion topics were:

• Hobbies, interest, and travel
• Work-life balance
• Stress management
• Career advise and mentorship
• What did you dream of being as a child? (How did you end up here?)

The conversation was lively and entertaining as attendees learned new tidbits about our leaders and vice versa. Many kudos to the planning committee members who organized the event, and thanks to all attendees who shared insights about themselves. Most attendees shared positive feedback about the event including these comments:

• “The relaxed environment was great. It freed people to be themselves, more so than in the office.”
• “I enjoyed the interactions with executives and other employees that I do not work with on a regular basis.”
• “The whole program was interesting and fun.”
• “We should have more events like this even if the execs aren’t involved.”
