Two American Structurepoint Projects Win ENR Midwest Awards

Two of our projects – the Lewis and Clark Bridge, East End Crossing and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway renovation – received top awards from ENR Midwest. The East End Crossing received Best Project in the Highways and Bridges category. We were the design firm for the Indiana portion of the project that including designing 4 miles of SR 265, two new interchange ramps, and 15 bridges. The magazine noted that the design-build method shaved more than seven years off a 15-year traditional design-bid-build construction schedule and saved more than $200 million in project costs. American Structurepoint was the civil engineering firm for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway project that received an Award of Merit. The project included renovation of concession stands, restrooms, grandstands, suites, terraces, clubs, a new entry gate, parking, office space, seating, paddocks, and the removal and replacement of the penthouse canopy. Congrats to all who worked on these award-winning projects!
