Medical Office Building in Tipton Groundbreaking

American Structurepoint is playing a big role in bringing a long-time vision to reality. The IU Health Tipton Hospital broke ground on Monday, April 24 on a new medical office building (MOB). The MOB will connect to the existing hospital building as a 2-story connector built independently from the existing hospital building and separated by an expansion joint. The building design was led by Brandon Farley and Robert Bray, which is being developed by the Cornerstone Companies, Inc. and is expected to be finished in early 2018.

The new MOB will connect to the hospital through the main lobby giving patients easy access to hospital services. The first floor will be occupied by Methodist Sports Medicine (Dr. Kevin Condict), Page/Condict Orthodontics (Dr. Charee Condict) and IU Health Tipton Hospital Rehabilitation Services. The second floor will have Primary Care Physician and Specialty Care offices. The outdoor rehabilitation activities are supported by an exterior courtyard.
