American Structurepoint Makes Headlines

American Structurepoint projects and people landed in the news media and on the internet a whopping 35 times in February. Fifteen articles appearing throughout the month about a proposed tax increase to help fund the expansion of mass transit mentioned the Red Line Bus Rapid Transit project for which we are providing multiple traffic, enginnering, and surey services. The tax and its Feb. 27 passage was covered by Inside Indiana Business, The Indianapolis Star, The Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ),  5 Indianapolis TV stations, and radio stations WIBC and WFYI. Other projects and people appearing in the media include:

  • The decision to expand the under-construction Riverview Health Westfield into a hospital received coverage in The IBJ, The Indianapolis Star, and Healthcare Design Magazine.
  • An article in Urban Land magazine and on its website quoted Jack Lashenik about multi-family and industrial development trends in Indiana.
  • A new deadline of May 2018 for completing the I-69 extension between Bloomington and Martinsville appeared in Inside Indiana Business, The Evansville Courier & Press, The IBJ, The Indianapolis Star, and the Associated Press news service.
  • Inside Indiana Business, The South Bend Tribune, and The Times of Northwest Indiana all reported on the approval of more funding for the West Lake Corridor Extension and Double Track projects. American Structurepoint updated the regional comprehensive plan that provides strategies for achieving the expansion.
  • The IBJ and The Indianapolis Star reported on Carmel’s plans to covert much of 96th Street into a roundabout corridor. We are providing construction management for that work.
  • Inside Indiana Business covered that we were named to the Best Places to Work in Indiana list.
  • The Kokomo Tribune published two articles about our work to complete a new comprehensive plan for Kokomo and quoted Ben Bontrager.
  • The Paper of Wabash County quoted Rachel Swanson about plans to renovate the historic Eagles Theatre as part of the Wabash Stellar Community Grant Project.
  • Inside Indiana Business and The Fort Wayne News-Sentinel published articles on progress to obtain properties needed for the Fort Wayne Riverfront Development project for which we are providing environmental services.
  • The Times of Northwest Indiana published Briana Hope’s name in an article about a public hearing for road improvements near Crown Point High School for which we are doing roadway design, survey, and environmental work.
  • The Greensburg Daily News reported on an environmental assessment we will complete in conjunction with Phase II of the Veterans Way project.
  • The Current in Fishers wrote about plans to build a new Harley Davidson location that we will design.
  • The Chicago Tribune and The Times of Northwest Indiana reported that American Structurepoint was hired to design enhanced entrance landscaping and new signage at the Gary/Chicago International Airport. The Chicago Tribune added that we designed an upgrade to Airport Road leading to the airport’s main entrance.
