Receiving the Keys to Aviation Innovation in West Lafayette

Rolls-Royce has formally received the keys to a new facility in the Purdue Research Park Aerospace District designed by American Structurepoint in collaboration with the Purdue Research Foundation. The 55,000-sft facility, designed to marry the high-tech and research worlds, will primarily be used by Rolls-Royce to develop and test jet engine components, alternative fuels, and other potential uses around fuel pump capabilities. Roll-Royce will occupy about 20 percent of the building’s space. The facility is the first new development in the 980-acre Purdue Research Park Aerospace District and signifies the first step in the Purdue Research Foundation’s goal to advance public and private aerospace research through innovation. American Structurepoint will join Rolls-Royce and the Purdue Research Foundation to celebrate the building’s opening on Friday, March 24.
