clark-photoA big congratulations goes to Katie Clark, PLA, for receiving the Claire Bennett Legacy Award from the Indiana Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). The award recognizes individual achievement, service, and knowledge to the profession, and dedication to the Indiana ASLA chapter.

Katie has served as chapter president twice in the last ten years, a past chair of the ASLA national chapter President’s Council, and currently oversees the state’s ASLA award program. ASLA Indiana Chapter President Jonathan Geels, PLA, praised Katie at the recent award ceremony: “It’s hard to imagine someone more dedicated to the chapter than Katie Clark. Her clear passion for the chapter and her active service to its mission makes her an example of something we should aspire to.” The Planning + Economic Development Group had this to say about Katie’s award-winning ways. “We are very excited for Katie Clark for being a Claire Bennett Legacy Award recipient. This is an award that is not given out every year, but is given when there is someone that embodies the award. As colleagues and friends, we are proud to work side by side with her. She has been a great addition to our team and the overall company. She continues to be a champion of Landscape Architecture and Planning as she bridges the gap between many other disciplines executing principles and ideals of great design, creating a sense of place, and making the built environment functional and beautiful.” Congrats Katie!
