Loeb Stadium Demolition & Rebuild

Thanks in part to the popularity and success of Kokomo’s Municipal Stadium, American Structurepoint has been chosen as the designer for the new Loeb Stadium in Lafayette, Indiana. The 3,500 seat old facility, home to the Lafayette Red Sox, is over 75 years old and in need of a major makeover. The new design will be based off of the award winning Kokomo Municipal Stadium with projected demolition to occur in 2017 after the Colt World Series and will be completed by 2019.

American Structurepoint also hit a media home run because of the project.  News that we are the designers of the new field received widespread national coverage, thanks to the Associated Press distributing an article from The Lafayette Journal and Courier. At last count, American Structurepoint has appeared in 52 publications and websites from San Francisco to Albany, New York, in addition to coverage in the IBJ, The Indianapolis Star, Inside Indiana Business, Lafayette Channel 18 WLFI, and Ballpark Digest.com. The coverage also pointed out that Lafayette chose us due in large part to our work on the Kokomo Municipal Stadium.
