Riverview Health is growing again in Hamilton County with the help of American Structurepoint. In a groundbreaking ceremony March 8, Riverview Health President and CEO Pat Fox announced plans for the healthcare provider’s new $27 million, 105,000-sft Outpatient Care Center in Westfield, an opportunity that comes on the heels of American Structurepoint’s Riverview Health OCC expansion project in Noblesville. Also speaking at the Westfield ceremony were Riverview Health board member Steve Holt, Westfield Mayor Andy Cook, Hamilton County Commissioner Steve Dillinger, and American Structurepoint’s Joel Farmer, who designed the newest Riverview facility. “American Structurepoint is very proud, honored, and excited to be a part of making a vision of future healthcare a reality for the Westfield community and surrounding areas,” Farmer said. “The reason we are breaking ground can be attributed to excellent leadership and a collaborative effort of everyone involved in planning this facility.”
The new Westfield OCC will provide urgent/emergent/work-med areas, pre-post holding/23-hour, radiology, surgery, and staff support space. Other areas are to include clinics, private practices, sports medicine, physical therapy and rehabilitation, family hospital practices, and orthopedic offices. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2017. Along with Joel and the Architecture + Interiors Group’s Healthcare Studio, American Structurepoint’s design team for the Westfield project includes Jack Lashenik, Brittany Heidenreich, Alen Fetahagic, Andrew Taylor, Don Corson, Jared Plank, and Hardik Shah. Rick Conner, Kyle St. Peter, and Brandon Hoopingarner were among the more than 60 dignitaries in attendance at the groundbreaking ceremony.
Participating in the actual groundbreaking were Pat Fox, Riverview Health COO Larry Christman, and board members Sam Mishelow, Steve Holt, and Bruce Kettler; Mayor of Westfield, Andy Cook; Joel Farmer of American Structurepoint; Mark Keen of WWS; Tom Dooley of the Westfield Chamber of Commerce; and Hamilton County commissioners Steve Dillinger, Christine Altman, and Mark Heirbrandt.
