Employees Play to Win at the Annual Memorial Golf Classic

This year’s 37th Annual Memorial Golf Classic was held under beautiful, but hot weather.  With the wet cool spring we had, the course was in decent shape and the greens were holding well.

Many, many thanks to American Structurepoint for providing this opportunity to gather and enjoy a great day of golf and fellowship!

Seventy-one players completed the 18-hole classic in what seemed like one of the faster outings in our history.  We retired to the clubhouse to cool off, grab lunch and sort out the details and announce the results of the day’s events, which are as follows:

Closest to the Pin on #2 Greg Henneke

Long Drive on #3 Zach Wolf

Closest to the Pin on #11 Bianca Zaklikowski

Long Drive on #13 Tony Rench

Now for the scores –

Two teams were tied at 13-under-par (58), making it necessary to compare scores on certain holes, going back to the 3rd hardest hole to determine 3rd place from 2nd.  First place was easier as a one team stood alone at 15-under (56).  The outcome was as follows:

3rd Place Jack Lashenik, Steve Hanscom, Mike Hoopingarner, Dan Weekes

2nd Place AJ Edwards, Nick Murphy, John Nail, Bryan Potter

1st Place Eric Kuntz, Will Lyon, Dave Machala, Zach Wolf

Congratulations to all and thanks again for showing up and making it an enjoyable day!  A special thanks to Melody Niquette and Andrew Everhart for once again keeping us hydrated throughout the HOT day and capturing the photos you see !  Most importantly, a hearty ‘thank you’ goes out to American Structurepoint for allowing us to hook, hack, slice, and shank our way around the golf course once again!  Until next year…
